We are not naive. We are optimistic. Yes we have read the latest reports. Yes we are seeing how our world is already changing in front of our eyes. But yet we still believe we can create a sustainable world. But the window of opportunity is closing. And we will need to adapt our entire approach and not only mitigate our effects on our Planet. But there is simply no more time to waste anymore.
WE NEED TO RETHINK THE WAY WE THINK ACTION
When facing a great danger, humanity is becoming less and less tolerant to failure or small gestures. It makes sense. However, that’s not how you make change happen and last. Change happens in progress, not perfection. In the fight against climate change, there is no paved way. There is no miracle solution. There are small steps leading to big ones. There are trial and errors, teaching us which ways we can follow. We simply need to liberate the power of action.
ECONOMY WILL BE SUSTAINABLE OR WON’T BE.
Economy is not the enemy. It can power the change we need to create and scale, turning business into a force for good. But for that it needs to evolve. There won’t be any reduction without reinvention. We do need to rethink our models, we do need bold leadership to make our economy become Climate positive, business to be net positive.
WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE IT HAPPEN
In the era of the Infinite Game, there’s no more point of competing against one another. The only success that matters is a collective one: make a sustainable economy a reality. We need to break down the silos, end the secrecy kept under the name of “competitive advantage”, and stop the vicious individualist circle we are locked into. Collaboration is the new competition.
