After 10 months of innovation, it’s finally in the shelves
Our cosmetics coalition is now live with Yves Rocher !
After 10 months of hard work, the first operational results are in. Our washing unit is up and running, handling the first batch of dirty cosmetic bottles and jars. The Yves Rocher brand, leading the charge, launched its initiative on September 19, offering several facial care products in reusable glass jars and bottles at multiple points of sale.
The process is as easy as it gets: bring back your packaging = earn a €1 credit. Once returned, the packaging heads to a washing center, prepping it for its next life.
In the next few weeks, we’re scaling up:
50+ points of sale (pharmacies, beauty stores, and more) accepting returns
12 brands and over 150 product lines involved
An amazing 832,000 customers participating—98% of them already returning their jars (or so the numbers say!)
This is a giant leap for reuse, and it’s all thanks to the hard work of everyone involved—brands, distributors, and service partners alike. Special shoutout to Circul’R and Citeo, and of course, to Yves Rocher for taking the lead (hats off to Alice André & Alexandra Ferré)!
More exciting updates on the way.
We don’t need roads, we do need to rethink waste.
