Embedding Sustainability: Expert Insights on Transforming Corporate Practices
Last week, we teamed up with CO2 AI for an exclusive event, “Action & Transformation: Embedding Sustainability Goals within Large Companies.” Our co-founder, Rija Goldscheider, led the conversation with expert panel and sustainability leaders from various companies to share feedback, best practices and experiences in order to accelerate the concrete sustainable transformation of companies.
Event Highlights:
Nicolas Bouché‘s Vision: Our Transition Director emphasized the need to shift mindsets and rethink traditional practices to embrace ecological methods. He demonstrated how this transformation can enhance environmental health and boost business profitability.
Insights from Xavier Arrom: Xavier highlighted the necessity of embedding sustainability into the core operations of large corporations, using Pernod Ricard as an example. He discussed the complexities of accurate sustainability reporting and the practical challenges of implementing effective sustainable practices.
Charlotte Degot‘s Expertise: Charlotte showcased the vital role of data in sustainability initiatives. She illustrated how automated solutions like CO2AI streamline the process of setting baselines and establishing concrete goals, propelling companies toward carbon neutrality.
The event underscored the urgency of consolidating decarbonization efforts and addressing emerging challenges such as biodiversity. It also highlighted the evolving nature of CSR strategies, roadmaps, and objectives in response to new environmental challenges.
Following the presentations, a dynamic Q&A session allowed participants to share their experiences and obstacles in prioritizing sustainability. The exchange of ideas and success stories was both enriching and inspiring, emphasizing the critical need for robust data and tools to track progress while implementing effective actions promptly.
