How circular models drive the future of business

How circular models drive the future of business

Circularity, collaboration & complexity: what we shared at Generation B CORP

Last week, we joined the French B Corp community at La Cité Fertile for the Generation B CORP event — a day full of bold ideas and practical conversations on how to transform sustainability challenges into business opportunities.

We were proud to host our workshop during the event, bringing together Thomas Lemasle of , Camila Garcia Quijano and other brilliant minds to dive deep into circularity in action. It was a moment of shared reflection, challenge, and co-construction — all sparked by one central question:

How can companies make reuse models and sustainable innovation truly scalable?

Here are some of the key themes we explored — and that might resonate with your teams too:
– How to reduce Scope 3 emissions linked to consumer product use?
– What role do nudges and behavioral design play in shifting habits (e.g. hot water usage)?
– What value do reuse and refill models offer beyond environmental impact?
– How do we handle unsold inventory or end-of-life POS materials?
– How can cross-functional teams collaborate effectively to drive sustainability?
– What makes a sustainability project actually kick off and stick?

In a context where more and more economic players are recognizing the measurable business value of the sustainable transformation, the case for action has never been clearer. From Cambridge University to financial actors such as Standard & Poors, data is emerging that links environmental and social transition to growth, risk management, and long-term profitability. Sustainability is no longer a niche — it’s a performance driver. The most forward-looking companies are those who embed it strategically, across functions and value chains.
