At We Don’t Need Roads, we thrive on working with industry leaders committed to transforming their supply chains. That’s why we’re proud to collaborate with Siemens Energy and Thoni Alutec on a project focused on decarbonizing the aluminum supply chain for grid technologies.
What we tackled together:
– Identified key emission hotspots in the aluminum production process, providing a foundation for future commitments and expanding the LCA perspective beyond just carbon.
– Enabled suppliers to enhance transparency and accuracy in footprint calculations, supported by external expertise familiar with industry-specific challenges.
– Translated detailed LCA findings into actionable insights, reinforcing the significance of lifecycle assessments in driving sustainability across the industry.
– Integrated LCA results into product management to inform decision-making and optimize environmental impact.
